Tip on how to interact with a social worker
April 4, 2016, Dennis R. Ingols gladly accepted the invitation to provide free legal advice at the Consulate of Mexico in San José, CA. One of the tips he provided was how to interact with a social worker after she contacts the parent. Mr Ingols said, "always be polite to her even though you may be very mad; release your anger somewhere else. Always remember she is not your friend, though she may try to act like it to get you to volunteer information. However, beware that she may use this information against you in court."
Those in attendance took advantage of the the opportunity to get free consultations on topics like Child Protective Services (a.k.a. "CPS") investigations and, family law topics such as: divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division and restraining orders.
